Maintaining oral health is as important as maintaining the health of your body, because the mouth is one of the main entry points for germs, viruses and parasites into the body. And you know, toothache mouthwash that you normally use can also be used to reduce the risk of developing other diseases. Toothache mouthwash can not only reduce pain, but can also prevent the formation of cavities in teeth or cavities, namely by maintaining the level of fluoride in the mouth. Various ways to get fluoride that you can do include liquidated drinking water, salt, milk, toothpaste, and oral liquids or oral medication. In addition to oral health problems, there are other health problems that can be prevented by regularly cleaning the oral cavity. And not only diseases, you can also avoid bad breath and other diseases that cause bad breath (halitosis), such as diabetes. Here are some health problems that you can avoid with the help of mouthwash, dental floss, and brush your teeth.
  • Periodontal Disease (Gums)

  • Disease caused by bacterial infection in the form of plaque buildup on the teeth can destroy the gums and supporting bones that hold the teeth in the mouth. Complaints that occur are swollen gums, pain, and if not treated, can cause tooth loss.
  • Stomatitis (thrush)

  • Thrush is a complaint that often occurs. This condition causes pain in the mouth and often causes sufferers to have difficulty eating and talking. Thrush can be caused by bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, mouth irritation, or vitamin B12 deficiency. Usually with good dental and mouth care canker sores can improve by itself. If it persists or gets worse then this condition needs to be treated by a dentist.
  • HPV (human papillomavirus) or oral HPV infection

  • Some researchers suspect HPV infection spreads through oral sex or deep kissing "french kiss". This infection is also thought to be a cause of increased cancer cases that appear in the head and neck area. Oral HPV infection is usually asymptomatic. To prevent oral HPV infection, cervical cancer vaccination is suspected. But until now there has been no research that proves the effectiveness of cervical cancer vaccine as prevention of oral HPV infection.

  • The disease that mostly attacks children, especially in poor areas, causes gangrene wounds that are classified as severe and can be followed by premature death of cells or necrosis in the lips and chin areas. If not treated immediately the sufferer can die.
  • Mouth cancer

  • Oral cancer includes cancers of the lips, tongue, cheeks, floor of the mouth, palate, throat and sinus cavities. Cancer is caused by uncontrolled cell growth to damage healthy cells and surrounding tissue. One of the early symptoms of oral cancer is the appearance of wounds on the lips, gums or other areas in the oral cavity that do not heal. A lump that is sometimes accompanied by sores in the oral cavity can also be an early symptom of oral cancer.
There are still many other health problems, both directly and indirectly, starting from the disruption of oral health and hygiene. Maintain oral health by diligently brushing your teeth at least twice a day, followed by the use of dental floss once a day, then gargling with mouthwash once or twice a day. You can use toothache mouthwash that is commonly used, but it is recommended to choose an antiseptic without alcohol. Do not forget also to regularly check the oral cavity to the dentist at least twice a year, to get comprehensive care. Also avoid foods that contain too much sugar, consumption of alcoholic beverages, and smoking to maintain healthy teeth and mouth.
